Rose-Ayling Ellis in Shakespeare Sonnets: A Modern Love Story

BBC Arts is celebrating the 400th anniversary of the publication of Shakespeare’s ‘First Folio’ with a season of content exploring his life and work.

In Shakespeare Sonnets: A Modern Love Story, a one-off programme produced by Rural Media, four actors perform 20 of the bard’s best-loved sonnets all linked by a narrative thread.

Starring Rose Ayling-Ellis, Eloka Ivo, Eben Figueiredo and Ioanna Kimbook, it was broadcast on BBC Four last Sunday 29th October at 8.00pm. It’s now available on iPlayer if you missed it first time around.
